H-1B “cap” is reached – no more H-1B’s until April 1, 2010
By Jim Nolan | December 23, 2009
As of December 21, 2009, two days ago, Immigration received enough cases to reach the limit of H-1B visa cases for this year and will reject any H-1B “cap” cases it received after that date. For thos cases that it received on December 21, 2009, it will use a randon selection to pick those whose cases will be considered.
People who didn’t get their visas in on time can file for H-1B visas on April 1, 2010, for visas that will start on October 1, 2010.
